Authorities say a marine sergeant is faced with the cost of a felony animal cruelty after he reportedly a kitten in a wall at a friend's House last year.

Fernando Pacheco is scheduled to be accused in San Diego Superior Court on 29 July 2010.

Candice Eley of the humane society of San Diego says the 4-month-old kitten, called Cullen, was brought in an emergency animal hospital last June with a broken leg, head trauma and a bloody nose.
